Mulberry Creek is located in the Taromak tribe of Beinan Township. It is only a 15 to 20-minute drive from down-town Taitung. It is the upstream branch of the Danan Stream. The origin of the name Mulberry is said to come from a large mulberry tree upstream. This scenic spot for river tracing in Taitung boasts deep pools, waterfalls, rapids, and shale. It caters for various water activities, such as waterfall climbing, diving, slope climbing, and enjoying the scenery of many large and small waterfalls. Since this area is a recreational place for residents, you can even experience simple folk customs here.
