Nature lovers and ecological conservationists will most probably be familiar with the Canadian singer Matthew Carl Lien. Lien grew up in Canada’s spacious nature. Having grown up near the wondrous nature of Northern Xinjiang made him more conscious about natural ecosystems which shaped his music creation and heart for nature and protecting the earth.
Lien came to Taiwan in 1997 to promote his album Bleeding Wolves. That trip changed his life, which is what makes Eastern Taiwan even more significant to Lien. The rich natural resources and the welcoming and hospitable culture left a deep impression on Lienm as he fell in love with the land, even deciding to move and live here. Lien records Taiwan’s nature and culture through sounds, hoping to share the beauties of Taiwan with the world through this medium. This year will mark the 25th year since Lien came to Taiwan. The concert will be held with the lovely east coast shore in the background. We cordially invite everyone to come and enjoy the concert together.
