Friends who love Taitung, love the ocean, love sports, listen up! Don’t miss the hottest summer event, the East Wave Carnival will span a total of 15 days. There will be 15 diverse ocean programs for you to enjoy, including beach and water activities, and a tour on the waves.
Beach Activities
On top of the classic events “Beach Volleyball Tournament,” and “Large Specialty Kites,” this year’s “Beach Theater” will be added to the list of fun activities. Come lay on the Shanyuan Beach Park to enjoy movies while listening to the waves. There will be movie showings from Thursday to Saturday for the duration of two weeks. Come join this year’s new event “Beach Yoga” to relax your mind and body under the beautiful sunny rays by the beach. Other fun family activities include “Family Sand Sculpture” and “Shanyuan Intertidal Zone Tour.”
Ocean Activities
For those of you who love water sports, you will have the chance to sign up for paid activities including “SUP board,” “Crystal Clear Kayak,” “Sailboat,” and “Windsurf board.” Take in the lovely east coast from the ocean and let the magnificent views of Shanyuan Beach win you over.
Tour on Waves Activity
This is perfect for families of three to five people. There are three routes to choose from. The tours depart from Fugang Fishing Harbor and sail north along the coastline to Dulan Nose for a deep blue journey. Take in all of the east coast’s glory and learn about the ocean’s habitat through the in-depth guided tour.
