You will be able to see surfing enthusiasts at hot-spots in Taitung such as Changbin Baxian Cave, Wushibi, Chenggong Township, Duli, East River Coast and Jinzun! In particular, Donghe and Chenggong are both popular surfing destinations. Virtually every long weekend or during the winter, surfing enthusiasts gather on the east coast to enjoy the pure sea and blue skies. They welcome the stimulating and enthusiastic waves which somehow resemble beer foam. If you want to learn surfing, Donghe is full of surf shops, and many domestic and foreign professional coaches settle here, eager to coach others in person.
