The smart governance of Taitung begins with the creation of the “TTONE County Government Data Center.” This platform integrates 33 county-level agencies and over 55 million data records, covering fields from industrial transformation, healthcare, and educational resources to social welfare and environmental sustainability. These datasets are no longer passively stored in systems, but are actively analyzed and visualized in real-time, providing a solid foundation for policy-making. This enables decisions to be more responsive and accurate. For example, the allocation of elderly care resources and adjustments to school district planning are now data-driven, greatly enhancing administrative efficiency.

As an extension of TTONE, the TTPush App brings county services beyond counters and documents and into citizens’ daily lives. From disaster alerts and policy news to online applications and the Taitung Coin rewards system, every function offers convenience. One user commented on Facebook, “I treat it like a wallet, I can earn points even when buying fried chicken.” This integration brings government information from bulletin boards into everyday choices.

A smart city is not just about rigid infrastructure. At the 2025 Chishang Spring Picnic & Music Festival, users could earn Taitung Coins through the TTPush App, while the onsite market and performances drew many families. During the 2024 Taitung Arbor Festival, users earned TTCoins by meeting daily step goals, encouraging low-carbon lifestyles. A charity fair co-hosted with the Genesis Foundation also allowed participants to earn coins and gifts by buying tickets and recycling.
