Taimali Wonderful Lifestyle Cafe was founded by Director Chao Liang Huang. The cafe is decorated with movie posters, photography, and filmography equipment, creating a unique feel. The furniture and seating are vintage and there is tatami flooring that creates a Japanese film ambiance. The two adorable store pet cats, Chuyi and A-tai weave around the cafe and beg for pets from patrons. Enjoy your afternoon tea with the cats to fill your hearts with happiness!
Many guests might be misguided and think that Taimali Cafe is located in Taimali, but the cafe is actually in Taitung city. The owner used this name because he wanted to introduce more people to the beans grown in his hometown. Taimali sits between the Pacific Ocean and Central Mountain Range. The warm and moist ocean breeze and wide temperature range create the prime conditions for the coffee beans here to mature into a rich and unique flavor. Come to enjoy locally sourced coffee paired with a variety of desserts for a surprisingly comfortable break.
