You’re not a true Dawu foodie until you’ve tried out the Qiaotou Noodles in Dawu. Qiaotou Noodles became famous because of its location near Dawu Qiaotou. The small noodle stall doesn’t have a sign, but everyone in Dawu knows about it. The stall has been open for over sixty years and is now run by the second generation in the family to continue offering the humble delicious flavors. The stall only has two options, rice noodles, and oil noodles, which you can order either as a dry or soup noodle dish. No other sides are offered. The soup at Qiaotou Noodles is made from a pork bone broth. The flavors are rich and fragrant and the fried scallion topping is the cherry on top. The price of these noodles is super friendly and each bowl is served with Chinese leek, some meat slices, bean sprouts, and a braised egg to create a filling and inexpensive meal. The foodies suggest splitting open the braised egg and mixing the egg yolk into the soup to create a creamy broth that will enhance the flavors of the dish. You can also try adding a little spoon of the chili oil made in-house. Chili lovers must not miss out on this magnificent flavor combo. (Photo Credit:FB@心理師的歡樂之旅)
