The Corner

Jiaoluo – ”The Corner”, also known as Bais, is the owners name in her Yami(Tao) mother tongue. Perhaps because of her name, she keeps the corners of her heart safe. The coffeeshop is only open during the summer time and has been able to preserve the best summertime coffee flavor throughout Lanyu. Bais is located in one of the tribal villages and not very easy to find. Reflecting the style of Lanyu, everything is very comfortable and laid back. Coffee, teas, various kinds of deserts and salty foods are all quite standard owing to the owner having worked in Taiwan previously. The extraordinary lattes here particularly attract people.
