Amir Habib Shaikh, a businessman from Pakistan, settled in Taitung after marrying his Taiwanese wife. He felt that no restaurant in this beautiful place could provide legal Halal certified food for Muslims, so he opened eTaiwan Restaurant (eTaiwan@Taco House) to provide halal snacks, halal Chinese meals, and halal Middle Eastern cuisine. You don’t have to be a Muslim to want to try delicious Middle Easter cuisine. If this is your first time visiting, then you must try the tacos here. They offer a variety of unique flavors such as lobster sauce, grilled chicken, and chickpea. Those with small appetites can order the mini version of their specialty tacos. The owner highly recommends Dubai chicken curry. The Tikka Roast Chicken has been marinated with spices and paired with the exclusive dipping sauce, which gives the chicken a unique and refreshing taste. You will not be able to resist to order a second serving of turmeric rice! Do you like seafood?
