Taitung’s largest annual Taitung Coin (TTCoin) consumption rewards event, the Taitung Push Up Festival, will be held on August 31 at Nanjing Road Civic Square. The event kicked off its first wave of prelude activities on August 1 with two programs — “TTCoin Consumption Rewards” and “Eco Rewards”. These initiatives are designed to lead the public in a joyful spree of spending while also promoting environmental education in Taitung. The festival aims to boost the local economy through increased coin circulation while raising environmental awareness.
The Taitung County Government announced that from August 1, the four-week prelude event, “Revitalize Taitung! TTCoin Consumption Rewards,” will allow residents who spend 500 TTCoins at designated shops in specific areas to receive an additional 500 coins as a reward. This promotion includes over 600 participating stores across the mountain line, coastal line, the South Link area, and Taitung city center. Each member account can claim the reward up to three times per event (with different stores), the special offer will end once a set quota is reached.
Additionally, until the end of August, the “Go Green for Taitung: Earn Rewards for Eco-Friendly Actions” program will reward those who actively engage in eco-friendly consumption and battery recycling. The 10 most proactive participants will each receive an extra 2,000 TTCoins as a bonus.
The grand finale of the Taitung Push Up Festival will take place on August 31, with the annual “Food Extravaganza: Taitung Coin Market,” themed “Support Revitalization, Embrace Environmentalism, Protect Health,” Over 60 vendors are expected to participate, offering attendees the chance to win tens of thousands of Taitung Coins.
