Wild Vegetable Kingdom focuses on aboriginal wild vegetable dishes. The main event on the table includes wild greens grown in Taitung such as bird-nest fern, honeywort, bracken fern, and slender amaranth. The wild greens are grown by local farmers, harvested, and delivered straight to the restaurant. These wild greens are found in season in Taitung, are all unfamiliar to most people, and are high in nutrients. The owner lightly blanches the greens and stir-fries them with a little amount of salt and oil. The cooking method allows you to taste the unique flavors and textures of the wild greens. The dishes are healthy, delicious, light on your body, and no less satisfying than meat.
