East-rift-valley
Provincial Highway 9 is 476 km long and is the longest provincial highway in Taiwan. From Chishang to Taitung City, the highway runs the whole length of the East Rift Valley. Traveling down the highway, visitors can see rolling mountains and green fields on the both sides giving Provincial Highway No.9 the nicknamed the Green Highway.
Chulu Ranch is Taiwan's largest hillside pasture, spread across 72 hectares of highland grazing land between 200-390m. Visitors can hand-feed cattle, mini horses, and rabbits, then unwind with grass sliding, forest-cafe desserts, and ranch-made nougat.

Chulu Ranch is located in the highlands between 200 and 390 meters above sea level, and it is the largest ranch on a slope in Taiwan. The ranch sits on over 72 hectares of land, including a cute animal zone, grazing area, forest bathing area, ecological pond, and much more. The ranch has a variety of animals, such as cattle, mini horses, rabbits, and more. Guests can purchase carrots and hay next to each animal’s area to feed the animals and enjoy the fun up-close interaction. There are also many entertainment facilities in the ranch. Visiting guests will be able to do various activities including relaxing strolls, grass sliding, DIY activities, and more. Spend a perfect leisurely day with the entire family enjoying the ranch together. Another fun thing to do at the ranch is the rich and luscious desserts.
