He combined the local’s favorite bean paste, millet mochi, and red quinoa, with Taitung’s unique cultural event “bombing handan” to make this product.
The red quinoa cake uses Taitung’s ruby, red quinoa, along with dried fruits and nuts to create a chewy and fragrant snack! There are eight different flavors to choose from, original, peanut, taro, cashew, green mango, red guava, strawberry, and salted egg yolk. The cakes are sliced thinly and packaged individually for easy storage and consumption! The Russian bread is made with fresh milk from the Chulu Ranch. The bread has a crispy crust and a soft fluffy interior. It is a salty and milky delicacy. There are many other gift sets made with locally sourced ingredients to pick from.
